Septage Receiving Installation Photos
The septage receiving station handles waste with high solids content and composition, some of the most difficult waste to screen.
Influent Septage
Picture is of waste in tank in front of screen. Entire flow is forced through the screen prohibiting bypass and carryover. This installation has a float switch that controls the level in the unit. As flow passes through the screen a pump supplies more from the truck delivering the waste.
Screened Effluent
Entire flow has been screened and all particles larger than opening size (1/4" here) have been removed for washing and disposal. Screened flow falls into holding tank to be fed through plant processes and further treatment.
Transfer Conveyor
After screenings have been washed from screen's grid and processed through a Washing Compactor they are conveyed for disposal in dumpster.
