We are a team of exceptional individuals who work together to design and manufacture innovative technologies and equipment to protect critical water and wastewater environments. We offer a highly specialized proprietary product line and have established a strong reputation in a stable and expanding market. We are a mid-sized manufacturing company with an emphasis on controlling all aspects of our business, including in-house sales, engineering, manufacturing and service. Hydro-Dyne Engineering is looking for a Sales Engineer. Based in Clearwater, Florida, this position requires someone willing to learn and understand our products thoroughly and attain knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes. The successful candidate will be articulate, professional and personable, with an aptitude for sizing specified equipment for multiple projects at a time.

We are looking for a cheerful, informative, and welcoming receptionist to brighten up our lobby with their friendly disposition. As a receptionist you will serve as the critical first impression of the company at all times, while handling the daily responsibilities of a receptionist with efficiency and ease. You will answer inquiries, provide information to customers and visitors, and maintain an organized front desk.

Primary responsibilities include:

(NOTE: You must be able to read a print and pass a written test to be considered. )

  • Setup and run CNC mill, lathe and router, Manual Mill, Manual Lathe, and Automatic Saw
  • Making sure the machine is set up properly, monitoring it during the process and documenting results
  • Perform basic math functions, such as addition and subtraction
  • Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
  • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly
  • Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Performs all other responsibilities as directed by Management

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Create the drawings/models necessary for prototyping and production of standard and custom products
  • Modify drawings and models for engineering changes and cost improvements
  • Support the timely manufacture of pre-production and prototype component samples
  • Support manufacturing processes through required engineering documentation
  • Ability to take a design from concept to completion with minimal assistance
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a desire to get things done
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Keeping up to date with current and developing trends in the manufacturing industry at a national and international level
  • Coordinate/collaborate with engineers to create new and/or modify existing technical drawings that communicate engineering ideas, designs and information in support of engineering functions
  • Other duties as assigned

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Installation – technical consultation and installation assistance to on-site personnel or contractor
  • Start-up – Customer pre-consultation, site readiness preparation, start-up monitoring, assist and train
  • Equipment maintenance – perform routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment
  • Basic single and three phase electrical knowledge
  • Repairs – repair machines and systems, determine correct tools required to perform job; maintain clean and high-quality work environment
  • Troubleshooting – determine cause of failure and take appropriate action to remedy the problem, make product improvement recommendations, assist with R&D efforts
  • Record Activity – create and maintain accurate service records, complete service trip reports, and record using appropriate software; i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Safety – comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures at all times
  • Travel – up to 70% overnight within the U.S. and internationally (occasional weekends)
  • Dependability – is consistently at work and on time, follows instruction, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
  • Other responsibilities as required by Management

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Locates, verifies, and stages materials and supplies in accordance with production work orders
  • Thoroughly documents quantities and locations of materials and supplies on production work orders
  • Keeps track of all orders and dispatches priority orders first, in accordance with production schedule
  • Maintains inventory by labeling materials and supplies in-stock and recording locations
  • Identifies deficits in inventory and assemblies while staging, and notifies management immediately
  • Issues materials and supplies against work orders by entering transactions in company ERP software in accordance with company procedure
  • Receives finished components to inventory and processes transactions in company ERP software
  • Returns unused materials and supplies to inventory from production as directed
  • Performs cycle counts to maintain the integrity of inventory
  • Prepares sales orders for shipment by verifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product as needed
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs or report to maintenance
  • Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
  • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures pertaining to plant maintenance/repair and use equipment properly
  • Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Performs all other duties as directed by Management

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Grind, deburr and sand parts according to the drawing that is provided
  • Look at part drawings to ensure finished product is correct
  • Make sure that all parts are not sharp before going to the next department
  • Tap holes to proper size using mechanical tapping arm indicated by drawing
  • Remove parts from pallets and into baskets using racks/hooks
  • Operate overhead crane to lift basket into chemicals
  • Wipe down/dry parts after removed from chemicals and rinsed
  • Clock in/out of travelers
  • Transport parts on numbered pallets with pallet jack or forklift
  • Record pallet location on paperwork before relocating to staging
  • Works under immediate supervision and is not typically required to exercise independent judgment, but at times will be necessary
  • Safety and security: is able to observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
  • Keep work area organized to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Performs other duties as directed by Management
